A hauntingly beautiful collection of photographs, Las Muertas is inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead, or Dia De Los Muertos.
The photos, by Tim Tadder, depict skull painted, vibrantly dressed women with elaborate headdresses, against Aztec-style backgrounds and desolate landscapes.

American Funeral Home Takes its Showroom Out On The Road
An innovative undertaker in Dallas has decided to create a mobile showroom so that he can reach out to the public.
In addition to a traditional funeral home in Plano, he has opened a storefront in Richardson and has created a fleet of mobile showrooms to take the funeral home to the public.
The story appeared in yesterday's Dallas News.

Crematorium 'Loses' Ashes of 60 Babies
The ashes of over 60 babies and young children have been lost by Emstrey Crematorium in Shrewsbury, a report by the BBC claims.
Staff at the crematorium, which is owned by Shropshire Council and managed by Co-operative Funeralcare, allegedly said that it wasn't possible for the crematorium's equipment to be 'operated in such a way as to enable the return of a child's ashes'.

Crossrail Unearth Bedlam Burial Ground
Crossrail have started the excavation for the new Liverpool Street ticket office, and have been working to identify many of the bodies in the old Bedlam Burial Ground. They have identified a number of interesting characters and found an plague headstone. Working with the Museum of London they plan to unearth around 3000 bodies this March.
